Hampton Court Flower Show 2009 - Information

Prepare to be inspired at the 2009 RHS Hampton Court Flower Show.

The RHS Hampton Court Flower Show will delight gardeners everywhere, and takes place from the Tuesday 7th to Sunday 12th July 2009. A feast for the senses with show gardens, smaller gardens, and floral displays, free RHS advise, garden products for sale, music and food, all set in the magnificent surroundings of Hampton Court Palace and Parks.

If you couldn't get to the Chelsea Flower Show, or would rather bring the whole family, then the Hampton Court Flower Show is a must for you.

The show closes at 5.30pm on Sun 12 July with afternoon entry from 2.30pm

2009 Highlights

If I can sum up what the Hampton Court Flower Show is about, it is with practical gardening, and family in mind. Growing Tastes, cooking with fruit and vegetables from the Mediterranean, Asia and Britain. Climate Change, with the Met office and effects on gardening now and in the future.

The big draw the Hampton Court Flower Show is the superb Show gardens, and with Water gardens, Small gardens, Conceptual gardens and Inspirational spaces, there is something for everyone and inspiration for all. My personnal favourate is the festival of Roses, and in the setting of Hampton Court Palace is hard to beat.

Growing our own food is at long last growing in importance with familys all over the country, and in support and encouragement of this trend, there will lots of ideas an inspiration for growing and cooking fruit and veg to take home.
